Nexus Telecom, Siemens and Vietnam Power Telecom Launch Next-Generation VoIP Services and Billing System

Swiss-based Nexus Telecom AG, Siemens AG and Vietnam Power Telecom (VP Telecom) announced the successful live deployment of Siemens’ Next-Generation IP-based Voice and Multimedia services together with Nexus Telecom’s Billing Solution, NexusDBS 5. The system has been deployed on the latest Siemens SURPASS NGN (Next Generation Network) Switch HiE9200 and provides single end-user bills for any combination of its services, i.e. fixed telephony, VoIP, leased line, WLL, voice/videoconferencing, PC to PC calls, PC to phone calls, VPN, internet access and internet exchange services. The solution also supports intercarrier billing for international  partner networks and operators.

Pre-announcement: Successful Deployment of GPRS/UMTS Signaling Surveillance System at a Leading Equipment Vendor

Nexus Telecom, together with Acterna France, and a global supplier of network switching fabrics with headquarters in France have successfully completed the installation and acceptance of a combined GPRS/UMTS signalling and payload surveillance system for the entire monitoring of its test lab operations: NexusNETVIEW.

Engineers are now able to access one common platform to monitor any traffic in its test lab, be it core- or access network technology over optical fiber or Ethernet. The solution offering such functionality today is NexusNETVIEW, provided by Nexus Telecom and Acterna France.
