Roland Karesch - CFO - Chief Financial Officer
Roland is CFO (Chief Financial Officer) at Nexus Telecom, based in the Headquarter Office in Zurich, Switzerland.
Coming from a different industry background, Roland has worked in many different industries. Roland has been for the past 10 year in different position in Finance and Controlling and also responsible for the support process of the different businesses.
Career and Experience
Roland started off his career in the hospitality industry working in Calvi, (Corsica) Los Angeles (USA) and St. Petersburg (Russia). After some years, he decided to change the industry and worked as Project Manager in a Software Development Company and in the Retail Industry. He worked some years as Consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers and then went to the Airline Industry to build a Credit & Collection Department. He joint then Orascom of Samih Sawiris to help to set up the support processes for the New Andermatt Project as VP Finance.
Interests and Education
Roland holds B.Sc. in Commercial Information Technology from the Swiss University of Applied Sciences, Olten, and a Master of Advanced Studies in Controlling from the Swiss University of Applied Sciences, Lucerne. In his time not in the office, Roland still tries to improve his cooking for friends, get better in his handicap in golf and enjoys literature and playing the piano.
