Overview

Value-Added Reporting is a network performance reporting solution that assists enterprise and service provider managers to analyze network activity at various levels of detail. Many of the service-based reports are used for the verification of customer Service Level Agreements.

Value-Added Reporting harvests statistical and accounting network performance data from a wide range of services running in the multiple domains that form today’s networks. Support is provided for a wide variety of vendor-related and built-in open interfaces.

Value-Added Reporting incorporates a database of accounting, statistical and other performance data collected from the various network elements. With over 200 standard report designs, NexusMETER can provide users with a wide range of possibilities, from single-page executive summary or customer service compliancy reports to detailed multi-page reports useful for pinpointing specific problems.

Value-Added Reporting provides Service Assurance, helps to identify under-utilization and over-utilization, thus ensures that end-users can optimize use of their service via web-enabled report delivery. Utilities are provided to create custom reports to meet the ever-changing needs. Operators can produce meaningful network and service management reports using both the collected primary data and the processed summarized data.

Due to the modular format, service providers and enterprises can choose which reporting components suit their requirements together with the devices in their network. The base platform and database query tool, combined with the off-the-shelf reporting packs, provide sophisticated, easy-to-read, graphical performance reports for two key areas of Service/Network Management: Performance Management and Service Quality.
