Nexus Telecom is a Swiss-based company with a global presence and a well-known global supplier of OSS/BSS products and solutions for Telecom Service Providers and Network Operators.

Opportunity for a Telecom OSS/BSS Portfolio Manager

Nexus Telecom is seeking a Product Portfolio Manager who will drive, establish and give direction to Nexus Telecom's portfolio of OSS/BSS Network Investigations products.

Main Tasks

• The Portfolio Manager is first in line to proposing new product ideas and new innovative features based on customer demands and market intelligence. As such, the Portfolio Manager assures and secures the long-term success of the Nexus Telecom products and solutions.
• The Portfolio Manager writes up Use-Cases and other documents to demonstrate key benefits when using Nexus Telecom's product applications. The Portfolio Manager is expert in understanding the 'why' and 'how' and in conveying these key aspects to all involved parties.
• The Portfolio Manager develops and executes communication strategies to position and establish the products and solutions. The Portfolio Manager actively supports (potential) customers, channel and technology partners as well as the sales team in understanding the product positioning, the key benefits and application opportunities.

Mandatory Qualifications and Competencies

• The candidate has an extensive and proven knowledge of OSS/BSS telecom environments, in particular in the area of Mobile Communications and Network Management concepts.
• The candidate is an outspoken communicator, thoroughly trained in presentation concepts and highly skilled in the use of state of the art (print media and electronic) communication tools and techniques.

Additional Qualifications

• At least 10 years experience in the telecommunication industry, preferably in product management and marketing related functions.
• Superior communication skills in English. Proficiency in other additional languages is a plus.
• Evidence of strong customer orientation. The candidate must enjoy spending time in the market to understand customer problems and find innovative solutions to meet these customer challenges.
