Are you looking for an opportunity in the dynamic environment of telecom's software development?

Take the initiative and apply for a position as a Senior Software Development Engineer (GUI Development) to reinforce our motivated and highly qualified Engineering team.

You will be part of a highly motivated team working on the development of our telecom software solutions within the business unit Revenue Assurance. Our products must meet high standards in reliability, availability, security and performance.

The principal responsibilities of this position are:

• Design, implement and maintain Client GUI software using java/J2EE that meets highest quality standards with regards to robustness, testing and documentation
• Participate in architecture and detail design phases when creating new software components
• Provide effort estimates and regular status updates on planned or ongoing development projects
• Support the other software engineers in the team with your technical knowledge

For this position, a BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent applicable experience is required.

We are looking for a software developer with minimum 3 years experience with practical knowledge of design patterns in software architecture, database modeling and SQL with Oracle, Eclipse, Hibernate, XML and solid hands-on Java/J2EE development experience. Years in industry standard client GUI application development are required. You understand and appreciate a professional development process to create high quality software that meets market requirements. Proven know-how in telecom technologies is a big plus.

You are an open, dynamic personality that enjoys working in a fast moving industry. You are a self-motivated and goal oriented team player, communicate clearly and well internally as well when meeting customers and you display an excellent sense of responsibility and ownership.

English language skill is required, german a big plus.
